PRIVACY NOTICE FOR CAPSTORE HOLDINGS LIMITED T/AS ALLPARTS UK

 

Capstore Holdings Limited (“we/us/our”) takes the protection of your privacy very seriously.

 

We will only use your personal information to provide the products/goods/services you have requested from us.

We obtain information about you when you complete our online trade account registration form or ask us to provide products/goods/services and/or when you use our website, for example, when you contact us about our products/goods/services.

 

What type of information do we collect from you?

The personal information we collect from you will vary depending on which products/goods/services you have requested. The online trade account registration form requests the following details:

 

Your name/business name and address

Your trade status

Your company registration number (if applicable)

Your VAT number (if applicable)

Your email address and telephone number

 

Other personal information we collect might include your IP address, which pages you may have visited on our website, when you accessed them and what products you purchased from us.

 

How is your information used?

In general terms, and depending on which products/goods/services we are providing, we may use your information to:

 

Contact you by post, email or telephone

Process financial transactions

Deliver products/goods/services to you.

 

Where we have delivered products/goods/services to you, we are required by legislation to retain some of your data. The period of retention required varies with the applicable legislation but is typically five or six years. To ensure compliance with all such requirements it is our policy to retain all data for a period of seven years from the invoice date for such products/goods/services. Thereafter, your data will be destroyed/deleted unless you have expressly agreed with us that it may be retained.

 

Where you do not purchase products/goods/services from us, your data will be destroyed/deleted immediately unless you have expressly agreed with us that it may be retained.

 

Who has access to your information?

We will not sell or rent your information to third parties.

 

We will not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

 

Any staff with access to your information have a duty to treat your details confidentially.

 

Third Party Service Providers working on Our behalf

We may pass your information to our third party service providers, agents, subcontractors and other associated organisations for the purposes of providing the products/goods/services you have requested from us, for example to process financial transactions.

 

When we use third parties, we disclose only the personal information that is necessary to deliver the products/goods/services to you and we have a contract in place that requires them to keep your information secure and not to use it for their own purposes.
